Bringing people together can be one of the most effective means of social transformation. In conceiving the vision for Safe & Humane initiative, Kirkpatrick Foundation has determined to convene groups and organizations for animal wellbeing. Included in the first few years of the initiative, the foundation has hosted the triennial ANIMAL Conference, the Intersection Conference for the Oklahoma Link Coalition, the origination meeting for CommonBonds, and several other gatherings to bring together the leaders of the region to better the lives of Oklahomans and Oklahoma animals.
